If your claim for benefits is denied, you will need to file an appeal. These have strict time frames and you can miss out on all your benefits if you do not file timely and correctly. Don't risk it!

Once you are approved for benefits, Social Security will start regularly reviewing your case. This is called a "Continuing Disability Review." The goal of these reviews is to see if you have improved and no longer need benefits.
